Gemmeker

In 1948, Albert Gemmeker, the former commander of the Dutch concentration camp Westerbork, finds himself in an interrogation room opposite a man unknown to him. It soon turns out that Gemmeker's interrogator has a personal reason to force him to confess about his war past and the transportation of 80.000 Jews to the extermination camps.

about

Something about me.

First of all, I love to shoot stories.

For me It’s all about getting the right frame, light and feeling the story needs.
A good story has to have te right framing. It’s great to create a story through the camera.

After studies at the graphic school of Art (Eindhoven) and the filmacademy (Brussels) I start working for television. The focus, timespeed and dealing with unforseen situations is something I love and this expertise is very useful for both drama and television productions.

Also the adventure of getting on the road, see a lot of different people and travelling all over the world is a great feature of working as a DOP/cameraman. It’s great to discover all the beauty around us….

And with these famous words of Dr. Emmet L. Brown I quote:

Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need… roads!

this is what I do, what I love, what I see.... this is my work
